Steps for preparing media:
Dissolve media in water. Add agar if needed.
Adjust pH.
Heat the solution near its boiling point.
Pour into flasks or any other heat resistant container.
Sterilize by autoclaving.
A typical cultivation flask will take 25ml to 50ml of media, producing 20 to 40 flasks / L.
